The Holiday In Greece: Korres Gift Set

I love Korres. I could end the review right there but I guess I should explain. I picked up some Korres body care a while ago from an event and fell in love with the cool natural brand from Greece. With simple cool packaging and products from make up to hair care Korres is definitely a one stop shop for all you beauty needs. George  and Lena Korres use essential oils and herbs to create some amazing skin and body care products, using organic farming and an extensive knowledge of homoeopathic remedies. I'm a huge fan of their body butters and body milks which smell DEVINE! And love their great gift sets I'm currently working my way through Holiday In Greece  (£19.00) which contains 5 Korres body/hair care products:

Guava shower gel 40ml
Basil lemon shower gel 40ml
Basil lemon body milk 40ml
Guava body butter 40ml
Aloe and Dittany shampoo 40ml

All have a fresh summery feel, which stays with you all day, My favourites are Shampoo which gives hair a awesome sent and is also protein rich.

I also adore the Body Milk, which is though is called a milk is more like a cream. it's not watery at all and The Basil Lemon aroma is light and fresh.

I have a long list of Korres products that I want to try but I'm loving the handy gift set that allows you to try some of the Korres line with out breaking the bank. Korres products are available from Waitrose online and instore

The Kurly Klips: Caring For Your Clips

I'm still loving the Kurly Klips, I've been wearing them now for over a week. My previous post shows the Kurly Klips as they arrived without them being treated in any way. The initial look was quite big and wild, so I decided to wash and condition the wefts using Tressemme Naturals

The hair is really easy to wash if you follow the video supplied by Kurly Klips. Detangling is also really easy and due to the wefts triple secured stitch, there was very little shedding. Throughout the week I've found that the hair doesn't shed nor does it tangle very often. when it does tangle it is easily dealt with by spritzing with water and using a little leave in condition. I seems strange but I treat the hair how I would treat my own hair. I don't sleep in the wefts and I try to place the clips in different positions each day so that I'm not put repeat pressure on any one part of my hair. The clips aren't uncomfortable or heavy and so far I've had no trouble with the clips snagging on my natural hair. If I have one gripe, it's finding a place to store my Kurly Klips for now I'm using a gift bag (comment suggestions for storage please!) If you want to check out the Kurly Klips visit www.kurlyklips.com

I'm wearing My Fro in Shoulder Chic, Kurly Klips are available in 3 lengths and 2 texttures both made from 100% human hair.

The Weekend

Another sunny weekend in the UK and another sleepy village visited, we went to the New Forest yesterday and had picnic at the Trusty Servant Inn. It was all very 'olde worlde' the village green actually had a medieval stock (very Knights Tale!)  the New Forest is also the home of Wild Ponies, like for real....random loose ponies just chilling in the street like they own the place! we spotted black and white ponies in the road, the white would not get into position (cheeky thing!) so I have a lovely picture of a ponies butt (or vagina...whatever it is back there) Freya ignored all of this and just played with a stick. So that was my weekend, what did you do?
