The Dinner Of Discovery: Birchbox UK

Last night I was invited to an event hosted by BirchBox UK, smack bang in the middle of fashion week it was great to have an excuse to get into London as it is always buzzing around this time, I have posted a few times about Birchbox they have just launched in UK in January and have been popping up all over the UK blogsphere so it was great that they hosted a dinner for bloggers and beauty writers! Of course it wasn't just a dinner but Dinner of discovery which basically means FUN FUN FUN! 

First off we where picked up in these pink taxis, that have been whizzing around London offering glamour on the go for the LFW crowd, we where taken to a top secret location in some trendy part of London for Sparkly drinks and manicures.

The wonderful beauty therapists painted our nails with Colour Club Nails, I went for Wild Cactus a vibrant green and soaked in the fab loft apartment, sparkling wine and popcorn (it's official I want to live in that apartment!) 

I meet a lot of bloggers at the event, it's always nice to put a face to tweets and blogs and learn about all the new beauty news from the glam squad. and talk to the people at Birchbox UK and the team from New York. (who are super stylish)

We were later  back in the taxis and heading to our dinner at the homely Newman Street Tavern, great food and such a wonderful table, we got the february Birchbox which is available now from BirchboxUK

I was very excited about my eyelash curler (can you believe I don't have one!!) we also got personalised gift bags mine included Korres Body Butter and Sgower Gel and an Eyeko London Skinny Eyeliner

It was my first night out without my gorgeous baby girl, it was fun being a non mummy for a few hours  but I realised I'm not ready to be quite so far away from this face!

 That being said I'm glad I went, it was a great night and Birchbox are a solid subscriber box, both of the boxes I have received have contained things I have really enjoyed using (last months Fresh Lip Treatment is the one!) Of course I couldn't attend the event without snagging something for you guys so I have the February box to give away to one of my followers
