the full midi skirt is sticking around for the spring, check out my post here on how to style. work the heavier fabrics untill the weather gets warmer, introduce sheer blouses and thin knits, and ditch the tights as soon as you see a hint of sun! when spring arrives opt for light bold florals and prints, and play with texture (lace and pleats are good!)
be sure to belt your waist, this look is great for curvy curls it all about shape! the midi skirt can be warm with heels to elongate you legs as the midi length can cause cankles! if you want to do ballet flats (think chloe 2011) keep your full midi just above the calf! don't want to go full on vintage? toughen up the look with a cropped leather jacket and buckled heels or boots.
these skirts are all over the high street if you love vintage inspired fashion i suggest you run out and buy some (check out primark, blanco, topshop-they have great chloe esque pleats- asos, & mod cloth)
they will never truely be out of style
