The review: Energising body lotion

energising body lotion £16.50

This Wednesday i was invited to an event held by Liz Earle, to make a Christmas wreath, sip muled wine and learn about the new Energizing body lotion. i must say it was a fab idea i got to meet other uk bloggers and got to learn more about Liz Earle.
most of our journey's into natural hair have made us little ingredients masters! i for one read the back of the bottle before i read the front, although i don;t just use natural/organic ingredients , i do want to know about the ingredient's that go into my products so i can make an informed decision about what i put on my skin and scalp. the great thing about Liz Earle is they not only have complete transparency with there ingredients list but they also share there sourcing stories which amerce you into the Liz Earle world..
i got to meet Jennifer Hirsch the botanical research manager for the brand(or crazy American plant lady!) she was fantastic and was so passionate about the brand and the ingredients.

The lotion
so back to the product! energizing body lotion is due to hit store in January, packed full of 19 active ingredients, including ginkgo biloba, ivy, caffeine, horse chestnut, butchers broom and avocado oil, leaves skin smooth, firm and energised.
i've been using the lotion since Wednesday and it has added a boost to my lack lustre skin, it's non sticky and sinks into the skin, as directed i've been concentrating on my upper arms hips and thighs to make use of the firming skin toners in the product. the smell is potent! it's a beautiful blend of rosemary, rose and patchouli.
for £16.50 for 150mls it's quite good value, a little goes a long way.

pictures from the event and belle's wreath!

stay tuned for my review of Liz Earle's new hair care range and the story behind how the team source  West African shea butter
