vogue just released there best dressed list so i thought i'd give it a go,
This list changes, but at the moment these are my most stylish british girls! some newbies include T4 presenter jamella and emma watson who seems to be having a moment! my constants are corrine, shingai, carey and kesh. singersongwriter adele missed the list but i love her "don't give a shit style" and amy whinehouse she is a mess but i like her nod to the 60's girl groups. also just missing out is kate middleton (queeny to be) love her princess chic!
i chose these ladies because they are not perfect, there style is hit and miss, and human these women wear clothes the clothes don't wear them.

vicky becks maybe! coleen rooney definately not! and cheryl just no! i do NOT like that woman! i personal prefer rebecca's it's who she is and it's honest i love the clothes she wears when she papped outside the xfactor house and her floppy hats! but that my opionion you should post your list i'd love to check it out xx oh and so lucky meeting shingai!! xxxx

ReplyDeleteCheryl Cole and VB are so styled, calculated and aided in creating their look and engineering a highly controlled image. It's easy when a bevy of designer clothes land on their doorsteps every week. Rebecca on the other hand claims to have grown up in an area of Liverpool where most girls were like Coleen i.e with enough money to buy any label they wanted while she being poor, had to be creative and source vintage finds. She developed her own style and while it may not all be perfect, I like the fact that she has an innate sense of style and colour. Its not like the X Factor came up with her style, she already dressed that way.
ReplyDeleteColeen and Cheryl are just wag and former wag. I laugh every time I see that Littlewoods advert where Coleen is meant to be empowering young women at a boot camp. Meanwhile she's taken Rooney back twice after cheating.
Jameela Jamil is not my cup of tea at all. She usually goes for less is less in strapless mini dresses with the same triangular shaped skirt. You found a picture of her clothed for once.
